The Jefferson Park neighborhood is one of Denver’s smallest. In addition, approximately half is commercial, so it has pretty much the smallest residential area in the city. The Jefferson Park neighborhood sits south of the more well-known Highlands neighborhood. With an elevation similar to Highlands, Jefferson Park has a great view of the Downtown area. The neighborhood runs from I-25 to Federal Boulevard between Speer Boulevard and Colfax Avenue. The Jefferson Park neighborhood seemingly has its own private access to downtown via the 23rd Street Overpass which takes residents into Downtown Denver in just a few minutes. Access to I-25 is quick along either Colfax Avenue at the south end or Speer Boulevard at the north end.
