Highlands area in Northwest Denver could fit the bill. Once a year, The Highlands Street Fair gives Northwest Denver residents a chance to socialize with all of their neighbors and chat with Highlands area merchants, many of whom line the closed section of West 32nd Avenue with booths displaying their business names. Several local bands play for the festival and many food vendors tempt the passing-by with treats and delicacies. It’s hard to describe what makes people so attracted to this neighborhood that is so handy to everything in Denver Colorado. For many folks, they see it and they know this is where they want to be. The Highlands and Northwest Denver just seems to have its own magical aura floating around. If you experience it, you may be hooked.
